RaveJob

Every finished job asks for the review —
and if someone's unhappy, you hear it first.

Tap “job done.” RaveJob asks every customer how it went, points the happy ones to your Google page, and sends you the unhappy ones privately — name and number — while there's still time to make it right. They can always post publicly; you just get to hear it first.

How it works

Three steps. The last two are automatic.

Most happy customers would leave you a review if you asked at the right moment — almost none do on their own. RaveJob makes sure the ask happens, every job.

1

Tap “job done”

From your phone, in the truck, the second you wrap. That's your entire part.

2

We reach out for you

RaveJob follows up with your customer by text and email — in your name, with your logo.

3

You hear the unhappy ones first

Upset customers reach you privately — name and number — before it goes public, so you get a shot at fixing it. Happy ones get sent to your Google page while they're still smiling.

How did we do?

Tap a star

➜ Straight to your Google reviews Happy customers are sent right to your Google page while they're still smiling — that's how you stack up 5-star reviews.
➜ Privately to you, first You get an instant alert with their name and number, so you can make it right before it ever becomes a public 1-star.

Either way, the customer can always still post publicly — RaveJob never blocks it.

No review gating · honest by design

We never hide Google from your customers.

In 2024 the FTC cracked down on businesses that hide or fake their reviews. Steering unhappy customers away from public review sites — “review gating” — is exactly the kind of thing that gets a business in trouble. RaveJob doesn't do it. Every customer can always post publicly; we just make sure the happy ones follow through, and the unhappy ones reach you privately first, so you get the chance to make it right.

Erick, founder of RaveJob

Built by a contractor, not a software company.

I'm Erick. I run Johnson Home Restore, a restoration company here in Dallas. I got tired of watching good jobs turn into no review at all — and the occasional bad day turn into a public 1-star before I even knew something was wrong. So I built RaveJob to fix both. It runs on my own jobs first; if it's not good enough for my company, it's not going in front of yours.

Questions contractors ask

Is this allowed?
Yes. RaveJob never hides or blocks the public review option — that's “review gating,” and after the FTC's 2024 crackdown on hiding and faking reviews, it's the kind of thing that gets businesses in trouble. With RaveJob everyone can still leave a public review; we just make the ask easy and route unhappy customers to you first so you can make it right.
Will it annoy my customers?
No. It's one friendly follow-up after a job they hired you for — no spam, no endless drip. They can opt out anytime, and you control the wording.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
Yes — a card starts your 14-day free trial, but you're not charged for 14 days and can cancel anytime in one click before then. Asking for a card up front just keeps the tire-kickers out, so the tool stays built for working contractors.
How long does it take to set up?
About five minutes. Add your business name and your Google review link and you're live. No CRM, no training, nothing to install.
What if I don't have my Google review link handy?
We show you exactly where to find it, or you can add it later from Settings. Until it's set, happy customers just can't be routed to Google — everything else works in the meantime.
What if I don't have a website or Google page yet?
No problem — a Google page is the one thing RaveJob needs to point at, and plenty of one-truck guys haven't set one up yet. If that's you, we can build you a simple website and get your Google Business Profile going for you, so reviews actually have somewhere to land. Just email hello@ravejob.com and we'll take it from there.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — month to month, cancel from Settings in one click. No contracts, no per-review fees, no cancellation hoops.
Why don't my Google reviews show up right away?
Because Google, not RaveJob, decides when a review goes live. Google holds and filters new reviews — especially several close together from new accounts — for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It's frustrating, and it's the same for every review tool. What RaveJob controls is making sure the ask happens every job and the good ones get pointed at Google; they show up on Google's timeline. In the meantime your dashboard shows every 5★ rating as it comes in, so you can see it's working.
